NFIB State Director Dan Murray said today that the NFIB Kansas PAC has endorsed Derek Schmidt for a third term as attorney general. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members.
“This endorsement is based on Schmidt’s strong advocacy on behalf of small business,” Murray said. “Derek Schmidt “opposed the so-called Affordable Care Act, which actually raised costs for small businesses, and supported our efforts to block the Obama administration’s overreaching Waters of the U.S. rule that imposed unfair and unworkable new regulations on small businesses.
“Derek Schmidt understands the importance of small business,” Murray said. “Our members believe he has and will continue to fight for a level playing field that will allow small businesses to succeed and create jobs.”
Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its Kansas members to help turn out the small business vote on Election Day.
