The NFIB Louisiana PAC has endorsed Eddie Rispone for governor. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members in Louisiana. Its endorsement is based on a poll of NFIB members and Rispone’s position on small-business issues.

“When we balloted our members about which candidate to endorse, the overwhelming choice was Eddie Rispone,” said Dawn Starns, NFIB’s state director for Louisiana.

“Eddie Rispone is a successful entrepreneur with a strong work ethic, and he understands the challenges of building and maintaining a small business,” Starns said. “He knows how hard it can be for small businesses to find qualified job applicants and supports efforts to improve workforce development. He opposes higher taxes and burdensome regulations that would make it harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs.

“Our members support the candidates who support small business,” Starns said. “That’s why I’m proud to announce the NFIB Louisiana PAC’s endorsement of Eddie Rispone for governor of Louisiana.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Rispone’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Louisiana members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Nov. 16.
