Rep. Alferman and Sen. Blunt have perfect voting records in Jefferson City and D.C.
NFIB Endorses Missouri Legislators
As Election Day nears, NFIB’s Save
America’s Free Enterprise Trust is making endorsements of candidates that have
fought for small businesses at the state or federal level. Here are two
endorsements from Missouri.
State Rep. Justin Alferman
Rep. Alferman earned a 100 percent
voting record in the 2015-2016 Missouri legislative session, supporting small
businesses on tax reductions, unemployment insurance, and tort reform.
Brad Jones, NFIB/MO state director,
told the E-Missourian, “Small business is what drives Missouri’s economy. By
supporting small business, Justin Alferman is supporting working families and
the community. … Our members appreciate his efforts to help grow our state’s
economy and create jobs.”
U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt
Sen. Blunt also earned a perfect
score on the NFIB voting scorecard for the current U.S. Congress.
“Missouri small businesses
appreciate that Senator Blunt stands up for them,” Jones said. “He has voted to
keep the federal government from controlling practically every waterway in the
state through the Waters of the United States rule. He is making sure that we
have affordable energy and that small business owners have certainty about
their federal taxes. NFIB members are going to work hard to keep him in the
Senate.”
