Lynn Fitch Earns Endorsement of NFIB Mississippi PAC

Date: October 18, 2019

The NFIB Mississippi PAC has endorsed Lynn Fitch for attorney general. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members in Mississippi, and its endorsement is based on a survey of NFIB members throughout the state.

“The office of attorney general is vital to small business,” said Ron Aldridge, NFIB’s state director for Mississippi. “Our entrepreneurs and family businesses need an attorney general who will work with them and not treat them as a foe.

“That’s why the decision to endorse Lynn Fitch was so easy for our members and political action committee,” Aldridge said. “Lynn Fitch grew up around a family farm, so she knows what it’s like to run a small business. And as Mississippi’s state treasurer and in other positions of state service, she has been open, available, and eager to assist small business when it has encountered difficulties.

“Lynn Fitch is committed to the rule of law and defending the constitution and laws of our state,” Aldridge said. “Our members believe she will do everything in her power to help remove or reduce legal obstacles and excessive regulations and protect small businesses from those who try to do them harm.

“The evidence is clear that there’s only one candidate with a solid record of supporting Mississippi’s job creators,” Aldridge said. “That’s why we’re proud to announce the NFIB Mississippi PAC’s endorsement of Lynn Fitch as our state attorney general.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Fitch’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to vote.
