Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7. All three statewide offices and the 100 members of the House of Delegates on are the ballot.
This election is critical in setting the stage for the commonwealth’s priorities over the next four years. Small-business owners can’t afford to sit this one out. You need to make your voice heard at the polls and support the candidates who support small business. The polls will be open 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
The NFIB Virginia PAC has endorsed Gillespie for governor, Vogel for lieutenant governor, and Adams for attorney general because of their support for small businesses. The NFIB Virginia PAC also endorsed the candidacy of 55 members of the House of Delegates. All of the PAC’s endorsements are listed in the 2017 voter guide (PDF).
Last month, NFIB hosted a teleforum with Gillespie. During the call, he said small business is “the focus of my economic growth agenda” and reiterated his belief that “small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and also essential to the fabric of our communities.”
Finally, the NFIB Virginia PAC has a statewide radio ad supporting Gillespie, Vogel, and Adams.
