Candidates Endorsed By the NFIB Texas PAC
Small business is the engine that drives Texas’s economy. That’s why it’s important to support the candidates who will support small business, candidates who oppose higher taxes and support sensible regulations.
Here is a list of candidates endorsed by the NFIB Texas PAC. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members in Texas. Its endorsements are based on the candidates’ records and positions on small business issues.
GOVERNOR: Greg Abbott. During his first term, Governor Abbott cut costly red tape and fought for lower taxes, including a reduction in the state franchise tax. He also put forth a plan to rein in skyrocketing property tax rates that hurt small-business owners and other taxpayers.
TEXAS THIRD COURT OF APPEALS: Mike Toth. NFIB State Director Annie Spilman said, “It’s critically important to have a judiciary that is fair and impartial but understands the issues affecting the small-business community.”
LEGISLATURE: NFIB has also endorsed 102 candidates for seats in the House and Senate. Click here to read the complete list.
