46 Legislative Candidates Earn Small Business Endorsement

Date: October 11, 2018

NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse said today the NFIB Oklahoma PAC has endorsed candidates in 13 state Senate races and 32 House races. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Small business is what drives our economy,” Shouse said. “These candidates understand that and have a strong voting record on the issues such as tax relief and sensible regulations that can determine whether a small business can afford to grow or create jobs.”

The NFIB Oklahoma PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of these campaigns. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small-business issues.
