Pence, NFIB Members Discuss Health Care Reform

Date: May 24, 2017

Dawn Starns, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), released the following statement concerning today’s meeting between local NFIB members and Vice President Mike Pence in Baton Rouge:

“Our members appreciate the vice president taking the time to listen to their concerns about the need to repeal and replace Obamacare. We believe the American Health Care Act clears the way for health care reform that would work for small business. Passage of the AHCA would mean the repeal of the Obamacare taxes and mandates and allow for additional changes that would make health insurance affordable, flexible, and predictable for people who own or work for a small business.”
