Oklahoma Small Businesses Now Have More Time to File and Pay State Taxes

Date: March 20, 2020

Oklahoma Small Business Now Has Until July to File and Pay Income Taxes

The Oklahoma Tax Commission extended the deadline to file and pay Oklahoma income taxes until July 15th, 2020.

The move comes after guidance by the IRS, which voted to all individual and other non-corporate tax filers to defer up to $1 million of income tax payments due on April 15, 2020, until July 15, 2020, without penalties or interest. The Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) is likewise extending the 2019 Oklahoma income tax return due date from April 15 to July 15, 2020. This is applicable to income tax due from Tax Year 2019 and the first quarter payment for Tax Year 2020, both of which would normally be due on April 15, 2020.
