NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey released the following statement today on the issue of local COVID-19 ordinances that go beyond state requirements:
“Governor Kemp’s executive order provides uniformity across jurisdictions and clear, easy to understand guidelines based on the Department of Public Health recommendations.
“Local ordinances that are conflicting and non-enforceable create a patchwork of rules that put businesses in a no-win situation that is nearly impossible for them to understand, implement, and navigate.”
