Small-business owners encouraged to read two rule revisions that started August 13
Two revisions Oregon OSHA made to its rules governing workplace risks took effect August 13.
According to the agency, “The changes align with OHA’s response to the highly-infectious COVID-19 Delta variant, which, as of August 2021, accounts for more than 90 percent of diagnosed cases in Oregon. The Delta variant is approximately two to three times more infectious than early COVID-19 variants, and it has resulted in surging hospital bed usage and reduced hospital capacity in Oregon from COVID-19 patients.” Read the full news release here.
The revisions can be read in the following, one-page documents.
