New: Iowa COVID-19 Business Disruption Relief Program

Apply for the Extension of the Iowa Small Business Relief Grant Program Sept. 10

Governor Reynolds allocated federal CARES Act funds to assist bars, taverns and other establishments impacted by the Aug. 27, 2020, COVID-19 disaster proclamation that closed bars in six counties.

APPLICATION PERIOD

  • Thursday, September 10 – Thursday, September 24, 2020

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Eligible businesses will receive a one-time $10,000 grant to assist with short-term cash flow.

ELIGIBILITY

Businesses must be located in one of the following counties:

  • Black Hawk
  • Dallas
  • Johnson
  • Linn
  • Polk
  • Story 

Eligible businesses types:

  • Licensed bar or tavern
  • Brewery
  • Distillery
  • Winery 
  • Other eligible licensed establishment that sells alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises

Eligible businesses must be in good standing with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division, Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and the Iowa Department of Revenue.

The online application will be available beginning Thurs., Sept. 10.
