Wearing Masks in Public Now Mandatory in Some FL Cities, Counties

Date: June 25, 2020

Updated June 25, 2020

Florida doesn’t have a statewide mandate on face masks, but Governor DeSantis says local governments can require people to wear masks in public. As a result, many counties have adopted mask ordinances, and some are allowing cities to put additional rules in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

NFIB has compiled a list of mask ordinances now in place throughout the state as a guide. Please check cities as well as counties where you live and do business. If you have any questions or want to help us update the list, contact Legislative Director Tim Nungesser at [email protected].
