How to Apply for SC CARES Small Business Grants

The state of South Carolina has posted details on how to apply for assistance from the SC CARES grant program.

The Minority and Small Business Relief Grant Program will provide grants of $2,500 to $25,000 to minority-owned and small businesses to cover the cost of qualifying expenditures or financial loss due to COVID-19. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Employ 25 or fewer employees
  • Physically located in South Carolina
  • In operation from September 13, 2019, to present
  • Can demonstrate a financial or operational impact due to COVID-19

Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, Oct. 19. The application window closes on Nov. 1.
