Kansas State Director Dan Murray hosts webinar discussing the 2023 legislative session
The Kansas Legislature adjourned its 2023 legislative session early last month. Although tax reform and other priorities were left on the field, Kansas job creators did come away with several victories from Topeka.
This week, NFIB State Director Dan Murray hosted a webinar with Kansas small business owners to discuss the 2023 legislative session and answer questions. Participants also heard an update from Federal Government Relations Director Jeff Brabant, who spoke about the re-introduction of the bipartisan, bicameral Credit Card Competition Act.
Upon the conclusion of the event, Murray said:
“Thank you for your participation. You can’t be in Topeka. You can’t be in Washington, D.C. all the time. But having a membership in the thousands in Kansas strengthens the voice that I have to go to the statehouse and make a difference on your behalf. We don’t always win, but we’re always going to be heard.”
