Orange County representative scored 100 percent on NFIB voting record
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 27, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of state Sen. John Moorlach for re-election to his 37th District seat.
“As important as small business is to the health of the California economy, true friends and dependable allies are thin on the ground in the State Capitol,” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB. “That’s why we treasure elected officials like Senator Moorlach, who has been unwavering in his support of Main Street, mom-and-pop enterprises. He gets that small businesses are not smaller versions of big businesses and one-size-fits-all policies can do more harm than good. We thank him for his 100-percent, pro-small-business voting record.”
The endorsement of Moorlach was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on six votes taken in the first half of the 2019-2020 session. A minimum 70% was needed for endorsement consideration.
Moorlach represents all or parts of Anaheim, Corona del Mar, Costa Mesa, El Toro, Foothill Ranch, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Orange, Tustin, and Villa Park.
