Laguna Nigel mayor, small-business owner has the needed blend of experience for the job
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 28, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of Laurie Davies for the 73rd State Assembly District seat.
“We believe every legislative body can never have enough successful small-business owners.” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB, “Laurie Davies will not only bring that knowledge to public policy but also her work at the local government level combines to give her an experience so badly needed in the California Assembly right now.”
The endorsement of Davies was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on responses to a questionnaire. Opponent Scott Reinhart did not fill out the questionnaire.
The 73rd Assembly District includes the Orange County communities of Alisa Viejo, Coto de Caza, Dana Point, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, Laguna Nigel, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano.
