Rancher, small-business owner scored 100 percent on NFIB voting record
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 21, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of state Assemblyman Frank Bigelow for reelection to his 5th District seat.
“There’s no better representative for small business than a small-business owner himself, which makes Assemblyman Frank Bigelow one the most valuable assets in the Legislature for the Main Street enterprises California needs and is counting on to lead the economic recovery,” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB. “Also, given his experience as a rancher, local elected official, and firefighter, you’d be hard pressed to find more qualified lawmakers. His reelection is a must for this state.”
The endorsement of Bigelow was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on six votes taken in the first half of the 2019-2020 session. A minimum 70% was needed for endorsement consideration. Bigelow had 100 percent.
Bigelow represents all of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Madera, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne counties, a part of Placer County and 66 percent of El Dorado County.
