NFIB Endorses Assemblyman Steven Choi for Reelection

Date: September 14, 2020

Orange County educator scored 100 percent on the association’s small-business-voting record

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 14, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of Assemblyman Steven Choi for reelection to his 68th District seat.

“Assemblyman Choi has always been a champion for California small businesses,” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB, “a strong opponent of higher taxes and a fighter against increasing regulations that burden our small business job-creators. In this COVID-19 era, small-business owners and their employees know they can count on Steven Choi to be a trusted advocate for them in Sacramento.”

The endorsement of Choi was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on six votes taken in the first half of the 2019-2020 session. A minimum of 70% was needed for endorsement consideration. Choi scored 100 percent.

Choi represents the Orange County communities of Anaheim, Irvine, Lake Forest, North Tustin, Orange, Tustin, Villa Park, and other areas.
