NFIB Endorses Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham for Reelection

Date: September 03, 2020

Central Coast lawmaker scored 100 percent on association’s small-business-voting record

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 3, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham for reelection to his 35th District seat.

“Small business has a trusted friend in Assemblyman Cunningham,” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB. “What I’ve admired most is his independent streak that works to his advantage in getting things done for the Main Street businesses of his Central Coast district.”

The endorsement of Cunningham was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on six votes taken in the first half of the 2019-2020 session. A minimum of 70% was needed for endorsement consideration. Cunningham scored 100 percent.

Cunningham represents all of San Luis Obispo County and the Santa Barbara County communities of Guadalupe, Lompoc, and Santa Maria.
