Don't Just Sit There, Do Something: Join the NFIB Leadership Council

LITTLE ROCK, Nov. 6, 2013–NFIB/Arkansas is looking for small-business owners who want to take on more of a leadership role in the organization by serving on the state Leadership Council.

The LC advises the state director on the issues facing small-business owners and provide timely feedback on issues that arise in the Legislature. LC members also may be called upon to:

  • Testify on small-business issues during the legislative session
  • Write and submit letters to the editor and guest editorials to their local newspapers
  • Help decide whether to endorse candidates in legislative and statewide races
  • Help us explain to lawmakers as well  what effects proposed laws and regulations would have on small businesses
