PHOENIX, Jan. 9, 2020—The good news from Washington, D.C., this morning is that Main Street enterprises are not letting up on hiring, adding new positions, and raising the pay of their workers, according to the latest monthly Jobs Report from NFIB, the nation’s leading small-business association.
“Arizona’s small business economy is cooking with gasoline,” said Chad Heinrich, Arizona state director for NFIB. “Leaders like Gov. Doug Ducey and the pro-growth members of Arizona’s Legislature have worked for several years to create the environment we are in right now—one that gives businesses the confidence to hire employees, invest in new equipment and expand their businesses.”
