Date: March 26, 2020

President Trump Crashes NFIB Teleconference

During a teleconference updating Alaska members on what Congress is doing to help small businesses, Senator Dan Sullivan told NFIB members – hold on – I’m taking a call.

He put everyone on hold. Then, one of the Senator’s staffers told NFIB members – “he’s talking to the President!”

A few minutes later, the President joined the call with small business owners, saying “I tell you what, number one I like small businesses, especially independent ones and that’s what you all are largely in Alaska. I love it. You guys are going to be in great shape. We did something terrific for you last night and if we need more we’re going to get more for you. What I care about is taking care of the small business and we’re gonna take care of you.”

Senator Sullivan thanked the President for all he’s doing for Alaska small business owners and the President thanked Senator Sullivan for updating Alaskans small business owners on what’s happening in D.C.
