NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash said today that Steve Marshall has earned the endorsement of the NFIB Alabama PAC in the race for attorney general. The political action committee is comprised entirely of NFIB members.
“This is a crucial race for small business,” Elebash said. “Small businesses need an attorney general who will fight for a level playing field for Alabama’s job creators and oppose overreaching rules and regulations that make it harder for entrepreneurs to succeed.
“Steve Marshall understands the challenges facing our small businesses,” Elebash said. “Our members believe he will do everything within his power to maintain an environment where entrepreneurs can grow their businesses and create jobs.”
Marshall said, “I’m honored to have received the overwhelming endorsement of over 95% of NFIB’s members. Small businesses are the backbone of Alabama’s economy and I look forward to continue promoting entrepreneurship and job growth with their full support.”
Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Steve Marshall’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and make a point of recruiting other entrepreneurs, friends, and family members to support the small-business candidate.
