NFIB Alabama PAC Endorses Ainsworth for Lieutenant Governor

Date: October 16, 2018

The NFIB Alabama PAC has endorsed Will Ainsworth for lieutenant governor. NFIB is the nation’s leading small-business association, and the political action committee is comprised entirely of NFIB members from Alabama.

The endorsement is based on Ainsworth’s record and position on issues affecting the state’s small businesses, NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash said.

“Will Ainsworth understands the issues facing small, independent businesses,” Elebash said. “As a state representative, his consistent opposition to higher taxes and burdensome regulations earned him a 100% voting record with NFIB.  On behalf of the NFIB Alabama PAC and our members, we are proud to endorse Will Ainsworth for lieutenant governor.”

Ainsworth, who has started and operated several successful businesses in Alabama, said he appreciates the support of those who are willing to take chances, make investments, and provide jobs and opportunities for hardworking citizens across the state.

“As someone who knows firsthand the struggles, frustrations, and obstacles that small business owners face, I am honored to have the endorsement of the NFIB and appreciate the faith and confidence its members in every corner of Alabama have placed in my candidacy,” Ainsworth said.

“As lieutenant governor, I will work to reduce red tape and regulations and sustain an economic atmosphere that allows small businesses to grow, thrive, and expand. We must continue providing an economy that enables small business owners to sign the front of paychecks so their employees can sign the back.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind the Ainsworth’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Alabama members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day.
