While 2014 was dominated by the successful fight to pass House Bill 5 (Ohio Municipal Income Tax Reform) and several other key pieces of legislation, a new general assembly is back in Columbus and that brings a new slate of bills. NFIB/Ohio will continue to monitor legislation that impacts small-business owners and where we can be pro-active in supporting good public policy initiative that will assist our over 25,000 members in owning, operating and growing their businesses.
That being said we are coming to the table with a strong agenda that will benefit the small-business community and make Ohio a more attractive place to not only have new businesses locate, but maintain those small businesses that are already located here.
