Here are some of the issues NFIB will be tackling in next year’s legislative session:

• Repealing the existing tax on services and stopping efforts to expand North Carolina’s onerous service tax.

• Changing the rules so the first $50,000 for businesses grossing less than $400,000 a year is tax exempt.

• Working with legislators to reduce regulations and bureaucratic red tape to save time and money and ease the burden on small businesses.
