Date: February 25, 2014

NFIB’s top regulatory priority is to make regulation less costly and burdensome for small businesses that spend 36 percent more per employee to comply with regulations than their larger counterparts. NFIB believes that the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act should be expanded to cover all agencies that issue rules that affect small businesses, as a means to require these agencies to evaluate the burdens their rules place on small employers.
