NFIB working to reopen small businesses, smooth path toward economic recovery
NFIB this week submitted three proposals to state policymakers to provide additional assistance to small-business owners, help get our small businesses back into operation, and make the road ahead a little easier once you are all back in business.
The three proposals are:
- NFIB’s Small Business Economic Recovery Recommendations – submitted to Gov. Jay Inslee and legislative leaders April 15
- Joint letter to Governor Inslee from NFIB and the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation (which administers the Main Street program) requesting additional funding for small business emergency grants; WTHP also supports at least two of our recovery plan proposals – submitted to Gov. Inslee April 16
- NFIB’s request to put small retail back to work now – submitted to Gov. Inslee April 17.
Also today, NFIB released its federal Legislative Plan for The Survival of America’s Small Businesses, suggesting key actions Congress should undertake to support our nation’s leading job creators.
