Gov. Rauner continues to hold the line, demanding economic reforms in exchange for any new revenues and a new budget. The Democrat leaders continue to refuse the Governor's reform agenda, instead siding with organized labor.

It’s a new year, yet Illinois is still bogged down in the problems of the past.  The state is operating without a 2015 budget and there is little hope one will emerge before Governor Bruce Rauner delivers his budget for 2016 in February.
Gov. Rauner continues to hold the line, demanding economic reforms in exchange for any new revenues and a new budget.  The Democrat leaders continue to refuse the Governor’s reform agenda, instead siding with organized labor.
Illinois never fails when it comes to drama, yet this time the stakes are very high.
NFIB/Illinois and our small business members continue to support Governor Rauner and his reform agenda and will work towards resolution in 2016.
