NFIB Iowa PAC Endorses Candidates for State House and Senate

“We support the candidates who support small business”

DES MOINES, (Sept. 5, 2018) – NFIB announced that its Iowa political action committee had endorsed 57 candidates running in state House and Senate races in 2018.

“These candidates know what it takes to create jobs, and they understand the challenges that small-business owners face in Iowa. They are committed to making this state a better place to raise a family and own a business,” said Matt Everson, NFIB’s Iowa state director.

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with several thousand members in Iowa representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from the NFIB IA PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on voting records or surveys of candidates on small business issues and member input.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB IA PAC-endorsed candidates this year in the  General Election.
