1. Pro-Small Business Pandemic Relief. We’re calling on Congress to enact another round of pandemic relief that addresses small businesses’ biggest needs – from targeted assistance to liability protections to tax relief to unemployment insurance reform to regulatory relief.

2. Protect Small Business from Surprise Tax Increases. We’re calling on the IRS to reverse its decision to disallow tax deductibility for expenses paid for using forgiven PPP loans. The IRS has ignored congressional intent and will subject small businesses to surprise tax hikes, which we oppose.

3. Keep Small Business Regulatory Burdens Out of Defense Spending. The House-passed National Defense Authorization Act contains an anti-small business mandate known as the Corporate Transparency Act. It would lead to higher costs, bigger burdens, and less privacy, and it has no business passing – especially in a defense bill.
