Ben Homeyer
NFIB/South Carolina State Director

Ben Homeyer, a former consultant with McNair Law Firm in Columbia, served five years as legislative director to the South Carolina House Ways and Means Committee. He coordinated more than 400 bills each session, directed the appropriation of $700 million in state funds and analyzed legislation concerning property tax reform and health care.

He also served on the state Information Technology Architecture Oversight Committee, which set state policy.

A 1997 graduate of West Virginia University, he previously worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a program and management analyst and firefighter.
