Job Training Grant Deadline
Any size company may apply for a state grant (funded by a payroll tax on employers) to help pay for training employees in job-related skills. The training is designed by the company.
The deadline for the next round of applications is Friday, July 9, 2010. More information is available on the website of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development at www.mass.gov. Hit the ‘for businesses’ tab, find financial resources, and look for hiring and training and the workforce training fund.
