Regulatory Burdens

The NFIB Small Business Legal Center is committed to ensuring that government agencies carefully assess the impact that small business regulations have. Federal government agencies are required by the Regulatory Flexibility Act and the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act to do their homework before imposing burdensome new small business regulations. Specifically, agencies must measure the impact of regulatory proposals on small business and to consider less burdensome alternatives. The NFIB Small Business Legal Center works to ensure that federal agencies comply with these laws when proposing new small business regulations.
