What We Do And How We Do It

NFIB, the voice of small business, is committed to providing its members with superior, affordable insurance coverage. Small-business owners rely on their local independent agent to provide them with the coverage they need at a price they can afford. The independent-agent network continues to be small business's most trusted source of commercial insurance coverage.

NFIB's vision is to be the resource for small and independent businesses. For commercial insurance, that means providing commercial-insurance agents with cost-effective, efficient rating capabilities and access to additional markets. Currently, about 90 percent of small businesses fit one of our target classifications, provided they meet our other underwriting and financial criteria.

NFIB member insurance agents can find out about the programs available in their state, how to work with the Business Insurance Center, what the current commissions are and how to obtain and execute an agency agreement. All forms for agent agreements, requests for quotes, target account lists, program materials and bond kits can be downloaded right from this Web site!

NFIB member benefits are offered by third parties through contractual arrangements with the NFIB Member Services Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of NFIB, or one of its affiliated insurance agencies. NFIB's insurance programs are conducted through MSC Insurance Agency of Tennessee, LLC, which is qualified to do business in all of the states in which it operates (California License 0C73907).
