Tammy Boehms
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Tammy Boehms is responsible for the financial activities of NFIB and affiliated companies, including payroll, general ledger accounting, tax reporting and returns, accounts payable, revenue collection, and membership processing. She is also responsible for federal and state campaign and election compliance. In addition, she was appointed by the board of directors to serve as corporate treasurer.
Boehms came to NFIB in 1993 from Citicorp Insurance Services, in Nashville, Tenn., where she was an assistant vice president. Prior to that she was an assistant controller in the benefits division of Willis Corroon. She has also worked in various financial and auditing positions at American General Life & Accident Insurance Company.
Boehms, a graduate of Tennessee State University, is a certified public accountant.
Tammy currently serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee.
Previously serving as chair of the board of directors for the Downtown District YMCA, she continues to participate in strategic planning for the Y. She and her husband Dennis participate in the Y's fundraising efforts to assist at-risk youth in Nashville's inner city.
