Andy WarrenNFIB/Iowa State Director
As the state director of NFIB/Iowa, Andrew Warren leads the group's public policy initiatives, including lobbying, political and grassroots activities for small-business members across the state. Warren has an extensive background in state government public affairs having joined NFIB after serving as the research director for the Iowa Senate Republican Caucus. Warren had previously served as chief of staff to Iowa Senate Majority Leader Stew Iverson, as well as a research analyst on staff with the Iowa Senate.
"It's an honor to have the opportunity to speak on behalf of so many of Iowa's small businesses at our State Capitol," Warren said. "Small-business owners really are the unsung heroes of our economy. They are the ones creating jobs, driving innovation and growing business. Government has an obligation to protect the rights of small businesses to operate and expand. I'm proud to be part of an organization that is committed to defending and protecting those rights."
Warren has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Simpson College. He and his wife, Ann, reside in West Des Moines with their two children.
