Michelle BoltonNFIB/Arizona State Director
Michelle Bolton has been state director of NFIB/Arizona, the largest small-business organization in the state with over 10,000 members, since October 1999. Prior to her current position, she served as the assistant state director.
She graduated in 1993 from Arizona State University with a degree in political science.
Bolton has worked in political divisions of several associations, including the American Land Title Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, and REALTORS Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. She also served as personal assistant to Senator and former U.S. Representative Rick Santorum (R-Pa.).
Bolton has served on the Governor's Regulatory Review Council (July 2002 to March 2005), as well as the Gilbert Economic Development Advisory Board (June 2000 to June 2002). Currently, she is a member of the national and state chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
As state director, Bolton speaks frequently with professional groups and potential NFIB members. She has also helped legislators create a health-care focus group and has served important roles in campaigning for small-business candidates. She feels that NFIB serves as the voice, information source and guardian of small business.
Bolton resides in Chandler, Ariz.
