Lisa Goeas
Vice President Political
Lisa Goeas serves as the vice president of Political in the Washington, D.C., office. She is responsible for developing and directing NFIB political programs that impact public policy issues important to the small-business community. Goeas joined NFIB from the U.S. Small Business Administration, where she was chief of staff to Hector V. Baretto, SBA administrator. As chief of staff, Goeas was the primary senior executive adviser to the administrator on program and policy matters, and she represented the agency in negotiations and liaison activities with officials of the White House, Congress and other federal agencies.
Goeas resides in Alexandria, Va., with her husband Ed and two children. She is also actively involved in Cornerstone Community Schools for low-income children in the District of Columbia.
