New Report Released - Getting to the Middle: Policy prescriptions for Maine's working families

Our latest report provides an in-depth look at how middle class and low-income Maine families are falling further behind and what we, as a state, should do about it. The State of Working Maine

Every Labor Day, The Maine Center for Economic Policy outlines the current status of working Mainers and the state economy. This year's report reveals a picture of modest overall growth in Maine, coupled with limited income gains for typical Maine households. The State of Working Maine is produced in conjunction with the Economic Policy Institute's biennial national report, The State of Working America.
