Ohio EPA Offers Position on How to Regulate Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Ohio EPA submitted comments to U.S. EPA in late November, after the federal agency invited interested parties to weigh in on options for possible greenhouse gas regulations under the Clean Air Act. In summary, Ohio EPA stated that the framework of the existing Clean Air Act is not the best vehicle for dealing with greenhouse gases, and that Congress should address greenhouse gases in new legislation that establishes a federal cap and trade approach.
