Members advise state's leading small business group on key issues
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The National Federation of Independent Business, Missouri's leading small business association, has named Bill Crull of Holts Summit to its state Leadership Council. Crull co-founded All-Spec Metal Systems LLC in 1997. The company, with 12 to 16 employees, specializes in standing seam metal roof systems, metal siding and custom architectural sheet metal fabrications.
Crull joined NFIB/Missouri in 2002.
As a member of NFIB/Missouri's 25-member Leadership Council, Crull will assist in developing the association's statewide agenda and building strategies to support small business throughout the state. Leadership Council members are nominated by either NFIB's state director or current members and elected by the council.
"Bill has 35 years' experience in the construction business, so he truly understands the challenges of owning and growing a small business," said Brad Jones, state director of NFIB/Missouri.
"There was no question about whether we wanted Bill to take on more of a leadership role in NFIB," Jones said. "Since he joined the association, he has worked hard to help small business owners across the state.
"The small business owners who serve on our state Leadership Council not only advise NFIB on key issues but also are strong advocates for small businesses, telling our story to state and federal lawmakers," Jones said. "Bill has a lot of energy, and that's going to help us promote and protect the right of our members to own, operate and grow their businesses."
