ATLANTA -- The National Federation of Independent Business, Georgia's largest small business association, has endorsed Rep. Earl Ehrhart (Sugar Hill) for House District 36 in the July 15 primary election.
"Representative Ehrhart has been a good friend of Georgia's small business community," said David Raynor, state director of NFIB/Georgia. "He consistently supports legislation to help small, family-owned businesses grow and create jobs.
"The National Federation of Independent Business is urging its 12,000 members to help support Representative Ehrhart in his race for reelection." Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and often recruit friends, family members and acquaintances to vote.
"I truly appreciate the support of the National Federation of Independent Business," Rep. Ehrhart said. "Small business is the heart and soul of Georgia's economy, and I will do everything I can to help it grow and prosper."
In the House, Rep. Ehrhart is chairman of both the Rules Committee and a member of the Appropriations, Banks and Banking and State Institutions and Property committees.
"Representative Ehrhart supports small business, and we are asking our members to support Representative Ehrhart in the primary and general elections."
