Roundtable discussion to focus on portability, reform
Healthcare reform is a critical issue this election season. NFIB is hosting a series of roundtable forums to engage thought leaders and policymakers in NFIB's aggressive healthcare reform campaign, Solutions Start Here.
Join us Thursday, May 22, as NFIB hosts the third in a series of four healthcare forums in Washington, D.C. Thursday's forum will focus on the role of portability in the current healthcare system and in reform moving forward. NFIB Senior Healthcare Advisor Robert Graboyes, Ph.D., will moderate the discussion and Q & A with leading health-policy experts:
- Stuart M. Butler, Ph.D., vice president, Domestic and Economic Policy Studies, Heritage Foundation
- Karen Davenport, MPA, director of Health Policy, Center for American Progress
- Devon Herrick, Ph.D., senior fellow, National Center for Policy Analysis
- Scott Keefer, J.D., vice president of Policy Development, Center for Policy and Research, America’s Health Insurance Plans
Crafting legislation that will decrease costs, enhance coverage and maintain quality requires all of us--economists, policy experts, patient advocates, clinicians, and small business owners and their employees--to engage in the healthcare debate. RSVP to 202-326-1746 or christopher.dougherty@edelman.com to join us Thursday for this unique opportunity.
