NFIB members recently gathered in Minnesota to support a true small business ally--U.S. Senator Norm Coleman. At the Coleman-sponsored event, held at McLaughlin Gormley King Company in Golden Valley, NFIB member Bill Gullickson announced the endorsement of Sen. Coleman for reelection in November. The endorsement comes from NFIB's Save America's Free Enterprise (SAFE) Trust and is based on Coleman's steadfast support of small business since he was first elected in 2002.

Mr. Gullickson remarked that "Sen. Coleman has continually fought for the interests of small business owners… We deeply appreciate his work on our behalf."

During his time at the event, Sen. Coleman met and thanked the small business owners throughout the area that will be a vital component in his campaign throughout the summer and fall.

"Small and independent businesses are truly the growth engine for our economy and I'm proud to have their support," said Sen. Coleman. "I look forward to continuing to work with the NFIB and advocating for small businesses in my second term."

Throughout his six years in the Senate, Sen. Coleman has worked to help small business on key issues such as tax relief, healthcare reform and card check legislation.

Members throughout Minnesota, as well as other states and congressional districts throughout America, will have numerous chances to get involved to help elect small business candidates like Sen. Coleman.
