NFIB Hosts Healthcare Forum Featuring Top Advisors From Clinton, McCain and Obama Campaigns
04/22/2008

The National Federation of Independent Business, the nation's leading small business association is convening a healthcare forum Thursday, April 24, in Washington, D.C., with high-level surrogates from each of the three remaining presidential campaigns.

The bipartisan roundtable will focus on the policies Sens. Hillary Clinton, John McCain and Barack Obama believe will ultimately drive healthcare reform and how best to prioritize containing costs and expanding coverage.

"Cost vs. Coverage – What's the Priority?" is the second in a series of healthcare forums hosted by NFIB this spring, and will be moderated by Robert Graboyes, Ph.D., senior healthcare advisor for NFIB.

The forum, held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., April 24 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. EDT, will feature top-level advisors to the 2008 presidential candidates:

  • Jake Sullivan, deputy policy director, Clinton campaign
  • Doug Holtz-Eakin, senior policy advisor, McCain campaign
  • Kavita Patel, M.D., Obama campaign

A webcast of the event will be available Friday on NFIB.com.
