Politicians Duck AMT Reform
11/21/2007

Reforming the Alternative Minimum Tax consistently ranks as one of the top issues small-business owners want addressed by their leaders. In April of 2008, more than 23 million Americans will be subject to the tax, which originally was intended to focus on the country's wealthiest citizens who were finding loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. While repealing or reforming this tax is part of nearly every candidate's stump speech, few politicians are willing to propose a solution.
