As the primaries near, presidential candidates continue to tour the country in hopes of gaining the small-business vote. BusinessWeek.com recently polled eight major candidates to find out what they thought to be the most important small-business issues and how they would respond to them.
Candidates Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Rudolph Giuliani, Barack Obama, Bill Richardson and Mitt Romney all correctly identified health care as the top concern for small business, according to BusinessWeek.com, though job creation and tax cuts were also mentioned.
