The Rendell administration launched a six-week series of field hearings to promote Gov. Ed Rendell's Cover All Pennsylvanians health plan, which includes a payroll tax on small-business owners to pay for the uninsured. The first hearing was held Wednesday at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Delaware County.
The next meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Sept. 24 in Wilkes-Barre. NFIB members who wish to attend the meetings should contact Gwenn Dando.
